On March 21, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, KONEXIO BIOTECH, S.L. had the honor of participating in the ‘First AEMPS & AEFI Inspection and Control of Medicines Day,’ organized by the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) and the Spanish Association of Pharmaceutical Industry (AEFI). The event took place at the Casa de Burgos, in Madrid.

According to AEFI, regulations are constantly evolving, and it is crucial to be aware of these updates for their correct application in the industry. During this event, with the collaboration of experts from AEMPS, AEFI, and the pharmaceutical industry, the latest developments in pharmaceutical inspection were addressed.

Andrea Romero López, CEO of KONEXIO BIOTECH, S.L., participated in the final round table, alongside María Gemma Fernández Miguel, NCF Inspector at AEMPS, and moderated by Marta Rodríguez Vélez, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Quality Control Board Member at AEFI (Central Section).

During this panel, the discussion focused on manufacturing near the patient in the context of Advanced Therapies, Part IV of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and decentralized manufacturing.
